Open
The Open System is the result of clinical test and ongoing research on the anatomical conformation of riders. The feature consists of a gradual opening in the saddle for total support and relief in the perineal area.
NOShuffle
A real revolution. Thanks to the particular angle of the saddle end profile rubbing on the adductor muscles of thighs is reduced by 85%, with subsequent relief while pedalling.
Core Zone
Core-zone is a special double-injection that allows the shell to gradually deform itself without compromises the resistance and the performance of the seating area. This technology let increase the level of comfort in a specific point of the saddle.
Protek
Technical devices that help to increase the resistance of the product and its capacity to withstand to wear and tear. To this purpose, silicone supports have been added on the sides, where it is higher the possibility that the saddle deteriorate because of the friction or the lean on it.
Glamour
Designed on women's biometrichs. Anatomical sadddles for women feature dedicated relief area. The average sit bones width for women is 130 mm. The Bioaktive saddles for woman are wider and shorter than the saddles for man.
DNA-Carbon Waist
This system enables to increase the rigidity of the rail, avoiding useless spin and torsion of the saddle, without compromise the comfort during the performance. The crossing X shape knot (Dinamyc Node Action) is the point where all the forces concentrate. Localize the forces enables to create an additional support only in a well-defined area of the rails and in this way you can also contain the weight.
Carbon Waist
Multilayer carbon rail with internal strengthening waist in aluminium. The particular and unique structure makes it extremely strong in its more critical area – the attachment of the saddles - yet the lightest in its category.
Xsilite
Lighter and stronger than titanium, Xsilite was born as material of research for the pro riders saddles. It has a high percentage of silicon (here’s the name) together with particles of titanium and carbon. The result is a material with high static toughness, strong like titanium but at the same time lighter.
Titanox
This material comes from aeronautical engineering. It assures resistance and lightness. The resistance and the rigidity of the rail are assured by the tubular shape and by the properties of its components.
C.F.R.P. Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic
Shell with variable carbon percentage according to the needs or performance required for the saddle. The lengthened carbon fibre reinforces the shell to obtain a very strong, flexible and light material. This mix of materials enables the shell to keep its shape unchanged through years.
Full Carbon
Full-carbon fibre shell. The reactivity of the particular monocoque structure allows maximum power to be applied on the pedals. The maximum in terms of lightness and performance.
MicroFeel
This cover is breathable and hard wearing. This material also offers better adherence to the padding, emphasizing the ergonomic shapes of the saddle. It is less deformable and lighter than traditional materials. The particular surface assures an anti-skid effect with an extraordinary grip on the saddle. Its composition respects the standards of biocompatibility.
BioFoam
A challenge: managing to obtain better comfort in the saddles with gel inserts, lower weight and lasting greater resistance. BioFoam padding is the San Marco solution. The Biodynamic structure that follows the movements of the pelvis during pedalling, guarantees comfort, reduced weight, lasting resistance and ideal support. The “closed cells” surface assures the water repellency of the padding.
E.V.A.
Comfort is improved thanks to the differentiated thicknesses, making the saddle more ergonomic in the "crucial" places but without pointlessly adding weight.
